jerrymat 5 Posted November 10, 2011 John, This pose, the long hair, the picture on the wall and the articles on the cabinet make for a superb image. The light soft textured skin tones gently contrast with the darker decorative elements. I am bothered by one element, however, the dark doorway to the left. I have often suggested to people that a bright object on the edge of a composition makes a kind of "white trap" for the viewers eye, to pull the view away from the important parts of the image. Here I think I am seeing my first "dark trap." I would just suggest a simple crop but there is the problem of amputating the tip of the toe.My regards,Jerry Matchett Link to comment
