California Coast

It was a grey morning as we drove up the coast from Eureka to

Crescent City. I took this image just as the overcast broke.

Perhaps due partly to the combination of open sky and cloudy sky, the light you have captured is very pleasing and the tones mix nicely in this interesting landscape. I like how you have separated the near and far landforms from each other by the lovely colored water (reflections from above), the changing sky and the highlights presented by the breaking waves. Quite a detailed shot from, an albeit high quality, cellphone tablet.
