andrzejp 7 Posted September 30, 2011 Is it OK, or a bit of negative space will be better. Thanks for viewing Link to comment

kombizz 15 Posted September 30, 2011 her hair is mixed with the bg - it could be nicer image if the bg was not dead black Link to comment

sonneland 0 Posted September 30, 2011 Andrew, i on the other hand like how hair bleeds into b/g, it puts more emphases on the face. also really like your reflection. nice image! Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted September 30, 2011 Niki, Kombizz, Ruud and Roger,Thank you very much for your visit and comments. Kombizz - I changed the picture on purpose since I like it this way. Original simple B&W conversion is enclosed. Roger thanks a lot for being on the same page with me. Link to comment
daveinwilton 1 Posted September 30, 2011 I too like the darker approach. I might have have looked into her elbow being at center, opening up some negative space both left and down, not as sure about the space above. Strictly personal opinion. Beautiful work. Best regards...-Dave Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted September 30, 2011 I like the darker version too. It has greater impact and retains an aura of mystery and drama, whilst the reflection adds another dimension not immediately apparent, the face emerging from the shadows like a ghost. The space seems proportional and well thought out to me. Very well done!Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
sonneland 0 Posted September 30, 2011 Andrew, you would go and confuse the issue by presenting your original image. to me there is no comparison between the two. i like both images but when viewing black b/g image, it feels more like a completed work than other image. the element of most impact with this image for me would be the models hair blending into your b/g.
