flash ?

Harry,  Beautiful portrait - I like the high perspective, the textured background, muted colors, and, of course, most of all, her natural look. You used the fill to perfection.

Dear Harry, your model is pretty and of very pleasant nature, in here she is also well relaxed and sounded very competent in front of you and your camera, thats a great credit to your remarkable capture as your lighting of this out door portrait is also very well balanced and effective, the details are so fine out of the face and the skin tone is of original nature, her smile and eyes at the same time are very well connecting with the viewers.

I adjusted your image on my wife's laptop so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will look good on a CRT.  I dodged the eyes a bit and saturated the image about 20%.  Nice expression on your model.

This head shot was adjusted slightly differently because I was making my judgments on a CRT monitor instead of a laptop.  While I added 20% saturation and dodged eye highlights I also soften her eye bags.  I boosted the mid-range curves a tad, too.  So much of image-making is subjective--there often is no right or wrong--only our preferences.  Good luck in your image-making pursuit.

John your modifications work. It was an overcast day which explains the slightly blueshish tint plus I used flash. Allways good to get an objective point of view, thanks.
