threw the wing down, flew away, I turned around and saw this Kestrel

with his diner .. a field mouse. - What an afternoon!

Thanks Charles! Yes, it's a .. pleasant supprise since I've been having the flu (a gift from my kid :-) ) for almost a week and had not been shooting anything. Was just on my way home from work and ... voila ... a gift from ... ?? . Had not been that lucky yesterday afternoon or this morning. :-)

Wish this one was better but I was seperated from the bird by a fence and had to shoot over the fence at a fix disctance as well as 90 degree from the light direction and had to wait a bit to get that sparkle in the eye.

Sometimes the lucky helps the good photographer to take very good images, ciao Giangiorgio
