Hi Gail,

This is a lovely shoot with great play with the lines, color and contrast.

Best regards Tore

Gail, this is another winner. I love the background, the composition, colours. It all works. I also love the framing. I can see this hanging in a trendy restaurant in downtown Toronto.

You've come up with another interesting and attractive image. I like how you mixed in parts of other images as the background, especially the curls. Nice color pallette, nice work.

BTW, sometimes people say "congratulations" when they write about an image they like, but that infers that it's accidental, that there's something primarily lucky about it, but I think what's really up for someone who consistently produces good images (like you) is the skill, talent, joy, and work that goes into it, that's where the images come from.

Very Artistic creation . The square format suits it and the textures and colours in the background are perfect for it . It would make a great design for a tile . Bill

My friend, I can not be the only one loving your work here, there are many people commented on this image which do deserve it all, and they did so because they all admire your work and maintaining great respect for your kind person, this is also been my feelings toward your present on photo.net, the site which I will never ever regret to join and meeting all of the good people here.

Your image is just an example of your creative mind and your love for the camera and the art of photography, the image is beautiful and reflect your attachment nature and its contents, I see this image not been lit with the natural light but with your personnel light exposed it and I am sure your light will always be enough to light the dark world, your imaginations coming out with such creative result, the main floral subject present very fine details and the colors are of very beautiful and vivid nature while the back ground blurred superbly and even as it is so close with its tone to the main subject, still it did obtained an adequate isolation factor.

Wishing you all of the best my friend.

You are so kind in those lovely words you said Rashed, but 'it is just me'.....I don't know how to be any different. That being said, you have encouraged me when perhaps I needed the 'uplifting'. You yourself have done the same for me.

In a world where so many are experiencing hardship at this time, many are our dear friends on PN, 'happening's that we never ever would have thought possible, yet they are occurring. Somehow, I try to take an image and if I decide to do something artistic with it, I know I have  much to learn, but I do not want to dwell on the 'darness' but rather bring some cheerful light into my images. This is not overly easy for me, but I will attempt whenever I can to do so.

If this image has brought a 'twinkle' of joy or a smile to anyone, I am very pleased in return.

Thankyou for such lovely comments dear Rashed, I am humbled and yet it does do my soul good. Thankyou for your friendship and encouragement while I"ve known you. I truly appreciate your photographic example of fine works and look to them often, and dream that one day I may take such beautiful and moving works.

God bless you and keep you my friend, most sincerely, Gail

it is so nice to hear from you, I  hope you have been enjoying the summer months and now that fall is fast approaching, life as you get back into the 'swing of things' will treat you and yours well. (just realized that those 2 last portraits were of your daughter, my she is a beauty!)

Warmest regards, Gail

The colors are warming like the sun burning in early autumn, but the stone wall in the backdrop hints at a bit of coldness lurking and a finite end to the glow.
