A shot from the other day while in Koke State Park. I wanted feedback on

the processing and composition of this image as I used a polarizer on this

image, and not on my previously posted image from the other lookout. I

found the polarizer really brought out the colours more. I very subtly

adjusted to vibrance in Lightroom 3, and cropped this one to get rid of

some distracting cloud patterns in the upper left of the image. The clouds

were beginning to roll in, and I liked the way it had just opened up for us.

This lasted about 2 minutes before it clouded in again.

There is great vibrance in the colours courtesy of the polarisor, and I like the perspective over the vegetation towards the misty mountains and sea.  the patches of shadow from the low mist adds a nice live feeling to the shot as do the ripples on the sea. To summarise I'd say a well balanced and colourful landscape that is very aesthetically pleasing.

Best Regards

Paul, I'll simply echo the comments provided by Alf.  I do want to emphasize my enthusiasm for a polarizer to bring out the saturated color in vegetation, especially in wet conditions.

Thanks so much, Alf and Stephen.  I am really happy with this shot, and could not have hoped to get better given the unpredictable nature of this area.  All the best to the two of you.

Cheers, Ben.  I think the polarizer made all the difference on this shot of the same area.  Take care amigo!

Paul,

This one is one of your best.  Natural and sharp.  Vivid color but natural.   Thanks for sharing.  Best Regards,
