GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 29, 2011 The hum of the bees while we search for favorite flowers is not as intense as it used to be, but slowly the population seems to be coming back. I used to fear being stung just a little 'too much', now I barely think of it, just so glad to even see one that I might get a good shot of. (thanks for dropping by, Gail) Link to comment

alfbailey 3 Posted June 29, 2011 A lovely depiction of a busy bee at work, with a nice touch of light on his wings. Its also really encouraging to hear that the population seems to be increasing. Recent years has seen real concern for thier demise and as they are the principal pollinators for all major food crops, their importance cannot be overstated. Beautifully done Gail!Best RegardsAlf Link to comment

ldavidson 4 Posted July 4, 2011 I can see you are getting some interesting shots with your macro. I am allergic to bees, so I would never get this close. I really like the detail in the wings. Very nice work Gail. I like it. Best wishes from B.C. Linda Link to comment
