Guest Guest Posted June 22, 2011 Deep meanings required deeper understanding and to translate a complex concept as this you have done well to show the tangles of roots and complex aspects of life and the enlightnement of bright and the open door to wisdom... I think you have combined your images well and translated your message in clarity.. This is what Art and Design are about... Not random collection of stray images to come together with no purpose hence my respects for the thought you have put into your design... MJ Link to comment

192 0 Posted June 22, 2011 You shared a wonderful photo with us!...The black and white colour tones made your shot, very strong.A meaningful capture with fine texture and very well title! This is very nice that the roots spread everywhere and the door that connected two different words!...A mysterious atmosphere is included in this shot and a little fear is included, also.Thnx for taking and sharing!...Best regards(Bobby). engela 0 Posted June 22, 2011 The blooming light on the subject makes the entangled roots look like they are just a distant threat. The open door resembles an escape to an unknown future (at least for me, that is).Very well done on this thought provoking image.Kind regards,Engela Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted June 22, 2011 Once again, MJ has the 'vision' to traslate your artwork into 'meaningful prose' that puts this compositon into perspective for me. While I learn from your art work, I learn from his Interpretation. A very meaningful composition Anabel. Link to comment

donna pallotta 108 Posted June 24, 2011 Anabela... i luv your travels through your imagination... awesome! this image reminds me of a description of consciousness i just read by literary critic Peter Campion, so i hopped on PN to chime in with something worthy of this image. Campion wrote of "the action of consciousness" as "stitching together the constituent pieces of perception." seems like that tapestry of synapses beneath your thinker is her "stitching", a lot of "stitching" to open that particular door to conscious idea ;-} i luv these images; so engaging... dp Link to comment

alfbailey 3 Posted June 27, 2011 I have looked at this image and come back to it many times, each time trying to find the right words to express the connection I made with it. For me it epitomises the devastation of the earths resources and our sadness and mourning of thier loss, at the same time the roots symbolise a deeper strength unseen by us, and a vague hope that these invisible forces will at some point play a vital role in our survival........or perhaps fears of our extinction. In addition to my personal analogy of the image, it is refreshing to see so many others with thier own interpretations of what is an inspirational piece of photo art.Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
