Pierre Dumas 266 Posted June 17, 2011 This is what we called artistic photography when I started with photography! The mighty composition and psychological study are very strongly present here! Pure perfection of composition! Congratulations Roberto!Best regards!PDE Link to comment

stp 6 Posted June 19, 2011 I like this very much -- the forms, textures, and color are excellent, as is the overall composition. I would have found an easier and more direct interpretation had an older person been sitting in the window seat looking to the outside. I'm confused as to whether this photo depicts things as they are in the person's mind or as they were. I'm more inclined toward the latter, because of the condition of the building and the fact that the bell is no longer in use. That makes me expect to see an elderly person looking out the window. It's a leap to suggest this young person is the manifestation of an older person, and memories are associated with the elderly rather than the young. Link to comment
