I agree with MJ, Anabela, you have really been doing some fabulous Artistic work as of late, and I find this one in particular very attractive and eye catching. I love the tonal range, the depth of color, use of textures, lovely detail, and the young boy in particular gives me the feeling that he is looking out for his family perhaps, as it seems as if it is going to 'storm'. I also think it is the colors that give me that feeling, kind of on the 'green' side, just before the storm hits.

I'm not very talkative and don't enter in details, my first impression is also the last! I recognize a masterpiece when I see it and that's it! If we express our impressions in numbers I may tell you a good news, I raised the picture's average to 6,40! Congratulations Anabela!

............ I don't usually look at digitally remastered images as they are usually "off the wall" and I don't understand them, or cannot relate to them.

However, this image, at first glance, appeared to be the real thing.... seen, focussed and shot. Now, seeing the bigger image and your preamble, I was mistaken.

Nevertheless, I am impressed for a number of reasons........ that you used sections of your own images....... that you have created an image that looks real.......... and that I can relate to it...... so thank you.

As the other posters have said, the pending storm, the boy looking out for his family, the swirling storm looming in the background.... all good.

I'm just waiting for the leaves to fly.

Wonderful artwork! The main elements on left, child and wooden structure with its reflection are awesome enough to be a unique photo by itself, but adding some touches here made it different and bold. I suggest another version just by child and the wooden structure in b/w and a vertical format, also with contrasty reflections and shadows ( just my humble taste! ). Great work. Bravo.

A painterly quality and a stormy atmosphere make this compelling viewing, great combinations of colour and texture and a kind of fisheye foreground composition that is both attractive and different.
