A stark and grim image with a powerful atmosphere, the "beheaded" tree really is emotive and exudes an impression of tragedy, suffering and degradation, whilst in contrast the live tree continues, as we all choose to do, in a "life goes on" fashion, veiled in its own mist.  A thoroughly moving and well captured image!
