My anatomy for rating this a "7".

Technical merits are excellent. The use of 1.4X teleconverter with the F/2.8 lens did allow the lens to provide the best details that were possible. I know, I have the same lens/camera, etc.

The sharpness and color saturation suggests that you used a shutter speed adequate enough to stop any motion from the bird.

Focus is where it needs to be.
