This has to be viewed larger to fully appreciate the detail. The dust cloud as in the previous image is a strong element and I really like the inclusion of the fence in the foreground on this one. The only suggestion I could make for improvement would be to have the rider a bit less central by stepping to the left and including more fence thus placing him in a more "thirds" orientated position. But the suggestions I make and the reality of being there and capturing such a fine image are two different things, it's never as easy as you make it look : - ) .

Very well done Linda!

Alf has made some good suggestions, but I do agree, viewing it larger is truly the best to see the fine attention to detail, light and shadow.  Very nice work Linda!!!

It's amazing how the landscape seems actually to move as much as the bike. You give this a touch of theatrics by highlighting the strong, central subject with a spotlight. I like the textures playing off each other and the grounding aspect of the fence. There's also a cavernous feel which provides a bit of majesty and a sense of protectedness.

Linda,

Nice action shot! The dust cloud gives a good sense of movement. As for the composition, I like it too, . . . especially that "split rail" fence in the foreground!

This is some interesting terrain, . . . and your details when viewed larger are wonderful!

Regards,

Jim j.
