Pierre Dumas 266 Posted April 22, 2011 Maybe a little bit too much contrast?Warm regards Carlos!PDE Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted April 22, 2011 Thanks a lot Pierre, perhaps it is a "sui generis" way to interpretate the high key. Then, contrast is not following the academical rule. Nevertheless, I appreciate a lot your encouraging comment. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 5, 2011 What I like about this is that it suggests gracefulness (especially the high key treatment and the curves and folds of the material) yet there is tension as well as contrast which belies that grace. Her body is as tense as it is graceful and that works here. Her hair is much less flowing than the white material which is almost an extension of the hair. So, in many ways, this is a study in contrasts . . . perhaps the tension and mixed feelings of the photographer. I can always appreciate mixed feelings, because it suggests uncertainty, which is a respectable quality. Link to comment
Art X Photography 1 Posted June 17, 2012 My favourite of your series Carlos. Wonderful work. The high key tones work so well both in the space provided and in the capture of the female form. You have composed a wonderful image that reflects beauty, grace AND strength. The duality of vulnerability and strength plays well off each other Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted June 19, 2012 RuudI am really happy because you like mi humble photo. This is a quite old image taken with a simple Pentax istD, 6.1 mp, I worked hardly to do it. Thanks my friend. Art x Your comment is very flattering for me. In this image I tried to express the calm sensuality of a woman surrendered to the passion, the instinct and the love. She has a hope, she is waiting for. Thanks a lot. Link to comment
BelaMolnar 2 Posted January 13, 2013 Usually, I not commenting nudes images, but this is a very delicate and beautiful high-key photograph. Link to comment
