alfbailey 3 Posted April 1, 2011 I spent the day taking street shots in the busy seaside town of Llandudno, but was pining to get back to my beloved landscapes, and so succcumbed to temptation and stopped on my home to catch last light at Llandulas shore. Your thoughts and comments are always appreciated. Thank You! Link to comment

benhuybrechts 0 Posted April 2, 2011 Hi Alf, I am glad you stopped. This is a stunning picture. Nice tones and colors. The only change i would make is to clone out the three dots in the water on the left.Ben Link to comment
sarah_mcnulty 5 Posted April 2, 2011 Hi Alf,Another exquisite work of art, so pleased that I made time to venture outside the flower section! For me this is top drawer all the way, light, colours and composition. Going into my favorites - think I need a section just for your work!Wonderful work. Regards. Sarah Link to comment

elportebonheur 0 Posted April 2, 2011 This is a cracking picture,Alf. The longer aperture adds movement and energy to the scene and the interesting foreground nicely leads the eye out across the bay. To cut a long story short: An image that really excites the senses. Compliments and nice w-e. Link to comment
vbirke 0 Posted April 2, 2011 What a magical scene, place and powerful seascape photo, great proportions and balance among all image elements. Impressive lighting and wonderful color management / design as well, e.g. blue versus red and orange, and contrasts of lines (poles, vertical, versus the horizon), shapes (especially regarding the poles versus rocks) and textures (rocks versus the long exposed surface of the ocean and the amazing sky after sunset). A wonderful and inspirational minimalist composition where all image elements are arranged entirely harmonically and which conveys an awesome atmosphere and mood.Exactly the kind of landscape photography I like most.Bravo and congrats for this extraordinary work! Goes straight to my favorites. If this were submitted for rating, I would give a 7... But can understand... ;-)Bw, Volker Link to comment
matussik 0 Posted April 2, 2011 A superb mood in that picture! all elements are very thoughtfully arranged in your composition, the soft pastel tones with the silky water due to long time exposure gives a very appeasing mood, so peaceful! I love how the poles seems to be stepping into the sea until they vanish, a great lead for the eye. Kind regards, Jan Link to comment
papasan 0 Posted April 2, 2011 Nice work Alf. I like the color palette in this shot, the gradual shift from magenta to dark blue. The sinking poles are very interesting to me, and for some reason i react emotionally to them. Like a disappearing world. The water blur is very well done. I like the details and contract in the foreground stones. Excellent shot Alf. Regards always - michel Link to comment
tibig 0 Posted April 2, 2011 I like the color transitions and the simple and perfectly balanced composition.Very well executed, everything is under your control. The only slight shadow that comes on my mind when looking at this good work is that we see too many of these images and it is very hard to make one that stands out.Regards, Tibi Link to comment

raghuveermakala 0 Posted April 4, 2011 Surreal image! Composed very well. The transition of colors from the left to the right of the image is exquisite. I don't know if it's my monitor but the rocks seem to have a little too much cyan in them. Link to comment
