If I interpret your title right  then it's time to find a donor to buy this forest in order to protect its abundant forest, water reserves and biodiversity... Good document in very realistic colors.

I'm kidding! The picture is nice, but the place isn't nice for me, I wouldn't dare to approach such place nearer than 1000km! Maybe I watch TV too much, ha!

Feel that humidity, the heat, the feeling that you can not cool off that the water itself is not inviting.  The desity of the forest is so think you feel as though you can not breath.  The smell is dense and heavy with decay.  Now that is what you have been able to portray in one photograph, that is what we all seek to do, it to convey or vision and expression... You have done that in this image... No it is not stunning ,or dramatic, or supper processed but this is a very good image that you can express a feeling of an area.  Well done... MJ

The thumbnail just doesn't this any justice, but when I viewed it large wow! As MJ describes so well above, it does give a great appreciation and flavour of this part of the world.

To be here in this part of the world and capture this image is an outstanding achievement. There's a lot of rainforest in Borneo particularly here in Sabah and you presented it here beautifully, Anabela.

I like the tone because in Asia after a heavy rain that's how it looks, the water/flood becomes yellow from flowing mud. The lighting too is beautiful.
