Elstad 9 Posted March 25, 2011 This is a single image made with an exposure of 4 seconds. Thanks for the Look and the Write! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted March 25, 2011 I have to say I don't really understand it. It is very creative and unusual. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 25, 2011 Outstanding image, the feelings of the movements for the dancers really adding a great interest to the appearance of this work and enhancing its composition.Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best. Link to comment
diver1 0 Posted March 26, 2011 Hey Raymond, I imagine you fired your flash at the end of the exposer, if that's the case and since I assume a studio flash is involved my guess is that you had to trigger it manually? am I correct? nice photo I like it. Link to comment
Elstad 9 Posted March 26, 2011 Pretty close my friend... The strobes fired at the beginning of a 4 second exposure with the modeling lights creating the ghost figures. On a three count they 'assumed the position' and then took a second position and held it until they heard the shutter close. When doing this, I/we do it a number of times until I/we are satisfied with the result. Digital with its instant results certainly is easier to do this with than film. The end of my lesson for the day :=} Link to comment

John Peri 1,032 Posted April 5, 2011 Superb, I love this one Raymond. If I may allow myself the smallest of critiques, the model in the front (sharp image) seems just a little small in proportion, but this takes nothing away from the exquisite photo that it is. Link to comment
