Rakesh Agarwal is the founder of Uttarayan Art Foundation. A long time

patron of art, he sold his flourishing company and became its CEO.

Flush with funds he set about concretizing his dream: to build an art

centre like no other. A place where artists could work without

interference, their costs borne by the foundation, and have their works

exhibited for posterity. A living museum. He sought no government

assistance, no tax breaks. He has been aided with advice and inputs

from his many artist friends.

The centre is spread on plot of over 30 acres by the Mahi river and is

close to Vadodara (aka Baroda).

Outstanding out door portrait, the lighting is so well balanced on the face and the background adding very effective beauty as it is been so well blurred, the details on the man face are also very fine and so the skin tone while the pose and expression is so well captured and do enhance the quality of the composition.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

A fine portrait, and an even finer story. If only the world had more folks who thought like this gentleman. Thanks for posting.
