donev1 701 Posted March 15, 2011 Beautiful and artistic example of the physics of optics lows – some of our students can learn a lot from this photo, Pierre. Regards. Link to comment
dabar 0 Posted March 15, 2011 Quite creative and interesting but you could have done something perhaps even better...If you had shot this both with and without the lens-cap you could have isolated the lens-cap, mirrored it, radial blurred it a little and then added it back aligned to the lens. That would drive people crazy wondering how you shot the image... through the lens-cap.In any event, this is a very good creative shot. You should play a bit more with this idea... Link to comment
lbaranyai1 0 Posted March 15, 2011 Dave, please explain: how would you shoot the lens cap with the lens cap on the same lens?Pierre, great idea to use your lens with the cap off!And a very nice and impressive picture too!Congratulations; Laszlo Link to comment

JamieK 1 Posted March 15, 2011 is it composited, or is the camera actually reflected in the cd?it's a little like Alon Eshel's self portrait in a dead hard drive (on his bio page). Link to comment
