Beautiful and artistic example of the physics of optics lows – some of our students can learn a lot from this photo, Pierre. Regards.

Quite creative and interesting but you could have done something perhaps even better...

If you had shot this both with and without the lens-cap you could have isolated the lens-cap, mirrored it, radial blurred it a little and then added it back aligned to the lens.

That would drive people crazy wondering how you shot the image... through the lens-cap.

In any event, this is a very good creative shot.  You should play a bit more with this idea...

Dave, please explain: how would you shoot the lens cap with the lens cap on the same lens?

Pierre, great idea to use your lens with the cap off!

And a very nice and impressive picture too!

Congratulations; Laszlo

Hi Pierre

I see that my absence from PN does not have prevented you from continuing to experiment in the world of 'image with great results. Great job.

is it composited, or is the camera actually reflected in the cd?

it's a little like Alon Eshel's self portrait in a dead hard drive (on his bio page).

Paolo, welcome back my friend!

Jamie, this is just a photo, I only did some refinement of the right part with the rainbow like colors! I don't remember what was it exactly!

Queste sono le tue immagini che io preferisco: intuizioni che solo tu puoi avere, non parliamo poi della realizzazione, sempre perfetta! Ciao!

Hi Pierre! Wonderful work! Your photography is exceptional. You obviously shoot things from your own unique perspective and that shows a great variety of thought and emotion. Best wishes, Linda
