Landrum Kelly 65 Posted February 21, 2011 I think of it as half of a landscape shot. I was standing in my frontyard. . . .--Lannie Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted February 22, 2011 Or maybe a full skyscape shot?In any case I love the simplicity, almost abstract in it's nature.Oh I did enjoy the link to "Because" too, a welcome interlude and a favourite old Beatles track, brilliant Harpsichord and Harmonies.Nice one Mate!RegardsAlf Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted February 22, 2011 Thanks, Alf. I walked out the door to go to work last week, saw the sky, and had to duck back in to get a camera.--Lannie Link to comment
stp 6 Posted February 23, 2011 There's a Beatles' song bouncing around in my head when I look at this photo, but I can't quite find the words. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted February 24, 2011 Thanks, Stephen. You are absolutely right, and it is noted above at the outset. The song ("Because") inspired the title, but the lyrics "because the sky is blue" are buried further along in the song: --Lannie Link to comment
deb1 0 Posted February 24, 2011 Lannie This reminds me of little angels flying carefree across the sky looking down upon us and smiling. Thanks for this lovely image that allows my mind to think such wonderful thoughts. These words were just created by my thoughts... "Blue is the road they travel, high above my thought filled head - looking down upon me - whispering of forever and forgiveness. They fly to remind me of what's beyond my world - their arms reach out to guide me of my future pathway in the sky". This image gives me such comfort. Thanks for this gift Lannie! deb Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted February 26, 2011 Thanks, Deb. They were nice little cirrus clouds for me, but I am glad that you can see more.--Lannie Link to comment
