Leonard-just-Leonard 8 Posted February 19, 2011 I pretty much left this one as-is outta the camera, minor PS adjustments... autoadjusting just messes up the effect... it was at least -25 this morning when I took this shot, probably even colder standing on the frozen river. Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted February 20, 2011 I think you did exactly the right thing by leaving it virtually untouched, that way you ensure you keep the very aesthetics that attracted you to take the shot in the first place. The "ghostly" effect of the freezing fog is priceless, and gradual diminishing visibility adding to an atmosphere of mystery.Excellent work!RegardsAlf Link to comment
Leonard-just-Leonard 8 Posted February 20, 2011 I am attaching a similiar shot I took just over 3 years ago in the same spot. geese are facing the other way on the other side of the same river.http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6932052that is the picture that really got me hooked on photography again. glad I went digital.
