I think the image is impressive as the settings gives you a bit of remote hard work to capture the image even if it did not. When viewed larger it is even more impressive and detailed I think it is a shot I would be proud to post on PN and to frame and hang on my wall. Well done ... MJ

A wonderful shot Ron.  The eye contact, colors pose bg all spot on! A 7 in my eyes. I think a slight crop will win you a competition in calendars etc.

Phenomenal shot. The bird itself is amazing, but the framing, light and mood of the photo are stunning. The falling snow behind the bird is a perfect impressionist's backdrop.
