A lot of doubts have crossed my mind while taking and posting this

photo, should I post it or not. By this immage of huge personal disaster

I've tried to show the man's courage to endure, to survive..to face the

world. One could say that he could stay in his wheel-chair if not at

home..I say, this is the man that will make an extra mile and no one

can blame him for trying. What do You think?

Yes, a lot of courage, may be born out of dispair, however this hero isn't looking in that way. Vladimir, without (!) wheel-chair you both would have realised the shot of the year..! The man really (!) had been a so called living statue..! The two lines at the bottom are breaking the impact..!

I can understand perfectly your feelings about this photo. Should I post it or not? This question came across my mind many times because I have a very similar one in my portfolio which I have taken during a visit to albania. Best Regards.....Ray

Dear Vlad, A very difficult decision but I think you made the right one. As emotionallly heart-rendering as this is it's also inspiring at the same time. A very tough situation for sure for this fellow but a great lesson for all to learn, very touching my friend. Again I think its a good decision to post. Take care.

Sincerely,

Holger

My thoughts are.....If this man is brave enough to go into the outside world and look it in the eye, then I imagine he would be the kind of guy that would be proud to have you post this shot. I know how uncomfortable this image might make some people feel, some people will look away not quite sure how to deal with it, as perhaps they do in the street. I don't think it makes them bad people, but maybe they think looking with genuine interest might be misinterpreted as being morbidly curious. I think this guy wants to be noticed, and maybe wants to convey his own message to people about how he came to be in this situation. I'd be inclined to stop and talk with him if he would allow it. I am curious about him, I want to know his story. And I think he would be willing to tell it.

My sincere compliments to you both........firstly himself for being out there, and yourself Vladimir for posting this immensley thought provoking shot.

Best Regards

Alf
