Thanks for viewing/comments! I think it's a Prarie Falcon but may be

someone can either confirm that or tell me it's a differnt type of bird than

what I think. - Thanks!

Thanks Janine! Glad that you find it ... unique :-) - Nature can be unique or ... gruesome  or ... repulsive but that's real life - C'est la vie! In the past month, I've seen a couple Kestrel eat some mice just like this and now this Falcon  ... I still am amazing of how they can digest the bones.

Thanks Christian!

Thanks Noncho!

Thanks Doug! Kind of hesitate/confuse between the Prarie Falcon and Merlin but now that you have confirm that it's a Merlin. Thank you very much!

Hope that falcon is able to swallow and digest that poor prey sooner.

Unique and original, Again, right place and exact timing..Love it.

Tm...  Beautiful shot and great timing to get the third leg.  I'm not familiar with the Prairie Falcon or the Merlin, but this bird has many characteristics of the Cooper's Hawk which is also a bird eater.  Comparing the two I believe the Cooper's is larger with a longer tail.  Regardless, well done... Mike

Thank you folks!

Michael, it's a lot of fun to shoot birds of prey (with a camera, of course) :-)
