Please view this Olympic National Park image in large format. I appreciate

your taking the time to comment. Thanks for your input. It's far more

meaningful than ratings.

I like the pano shape of the shot and the large view does give it more life and scale. Is this a crop of a larger image?

You have captured the damp drizzle and mist effect really well, but you may wish to tweek the contrast, but only by a slight amount, use it cautiously. It's a fine line between bringing out more detail and losing the already excellent misty atmosphere. Is this a crop of a larger image? Another idea that you may with to experiment with, is to change the white balance to give a cooler look to the mist.

Nice work Larry.

Best Regards

Hi Alf, Thanks for looking at my image and commenting.  No, it's not a crop, but I did stretch it out with the pano format in sizing.  I tried different contrasts. You are right; it's a trade off, more contrast equals less fog and mist, less mood.  I had a cooler image and added a touch of a warming filter.  I'll look at it again without the filter.  I appreciate your insights and am glad that we are on the same page with our thinking.
