Lovely spot of colour placed perfectly in the frame and the "silent ripples" adding a sense of movement and life.

Very well done Lester!

Best Regards

Beautiful photo, Lester.  The background seems to keep my eyes on the fisherman -- it's a very good composition.

Beautiful image Lester.  Soft, gentle ripples in that lovely blue water, with the beautiful contrasting colors of the boat and fisher man.  When my eyes drift towards the mountains in the background, the image is just perfect.  Lovely comp. most sincerely, Gail

Lester, a beautiful scene, well composed with lovely colours. The yellow on the little boat is perfect against the blue in the water.

Lester, I'm back again with one more comment.  One of my fondest memories of the Philippines was seeing about 20 lights far from shore at night, scattered across the sea bobbing with the waves as these little boats (bancas, if I remember correctly) carried fishermen all night long.  I often wondered what it must be like, in the dark of night, far from shore, in such a tiny boat.

The bancas you're mentioning do stay at sea all night long however, these are motorized bancas with engines so that they don't only light the dark horizon but make noise all through the night.

I have thought of documenting the fishermen at night too in their bancas but they are too far from shore and come ashore only in the wee hours of the morning. Nice thought!

Regards! - Lester
