Excellent capture of his facial expression. One small point; I'd have liked to see a little more of the clothing. The crop of the image, which is squarish, makes me a little uncomfortable. I find the balance a little unsettling, but maybe because I'm too conventional.

Thank you very much for your feedback. Samrat, I had to resort to square format,to eliminate distraction. However, for you , another version.

Very impressive portrait of this aged man, I liked both versions the color and the b/w one, every one of them having its own taste, you very well lit this work and brought out all of the fine details, the textures of the face indicate the sort of hard life possibly this man been though and thats whats add to the remarkably composition of this image.

Thank ou for sharing it and wishing you all of the  best.

Fantastic face, terrific capture. But I think what I like most about this page is being able to see what you saw and shot, the crop and then the transition to B&W. It absolutely confirms to me that you have not only the eye to photograph but the vision to present in best form via your post-processing. Great job!

Cheers ~

The tousled hair and the calloused face gives this portrait a definite dimension away from the common. Both versions are good however my personal preference is for the colour.

Excellent portrait, and much more impressive in bw. Love his eyes below the matted hair. Take care, Amalda.
