First thanks Monte for your comments and apprecaite your clarification I did not think it was an owl.. But you clared that up.. As you know not my strong suit in the birding world and hence getting a comment from you is a real pleasure... Very helpful not sure I can not manage the light issue that is subject to the Bird I would think but yes makes for a great comment.  As you noted it is a lot to do with luck of the shot right time of day and all in Austrailia we have a lot of direct sun through out the day morning, noon and evening which is hard to contend with.  I would think that with more time could improve that is what I will do... Again alway apprecaite your comments and support and inspired shots as you have!
