As usual very original, the child been well lit and his expression is phenomenal while you all brought out very fine details of him and all of the surrounding content, the contrast and tone are of very high quality and adding g to the superb composition of this image.

Thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

The title is as poignant as the photograph. It conveys to me the childs struggle from an early age to deal with seemingly unmovable boundaries.  "Coming up against a brick wall" is the phrase that springs to mind, though I feel it refers more to the deeper problems of poverty and the willingness of successive authorities to deal with it, than a physical boundary.

Proffessional journalist quality, very well done Birte!

Best Regards

Birte, I really like the hands over the wall, almost as if he is struggling to climb up. Really beautiful light on his face and those great eyes.

Hi dear Birte,

Miss you so much and glad for your comeback!

This is a great documentary shot with fine b&w tones and unique pose. The innocent face is very admirable, also.

Wish you and your dear family a great new year!

Best regards(Bobby).

The brick-and-mortar structure is for me the key element in the image. Lots of room for interpretation...In line with your previous post on the subject. Compliments Birte

that passionate intelligent face; those reaching grasping doing hands; perhaps we should put our future in those hands, Birte. dp

Another masterful documentary shot, with great weigh of feeling and meaning! So impressive and effective. Just one question: I see the left eye is slightly blurred, is it intentional or p/p work for more impact?

My best regards,

Hamid.
