Guest Guest Posted January 5, 2011 You have an outstanding sun set capture and so well balanced exposure value and composition wise, the figure do add an interesting impact and bring life to the place while the color and tone makes the real connection with the viewers.Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best. davidmccracken 2 Posted January 7, 2011 I wonder how long you had to wait to get this shot. However long it was, it was worth it. Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted January 7, 2011 To all, thank you very much for your time and kind words.David,I took about 15 shots, this was the last one. All the other were too bright. For the last shot there was just enough cloud cover to diminish brightness. Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted January 8, 2011 It doesn't surprise me that you took 15 shots to get one that was usable, this has to be one of the hardest things to achieve when shooting into the sun. I love the "halo" round the figure that is formed by the suns reflection on the sea. I also find that the central composition works well in this shot too!Very well done Andrew!Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
daveinwilton 1 Posted January 9, 2011 Fantastic work Andrew! Patience and perseverance once more bags a winner. I too find the central positioning quite pleasing. Context and colors very pleasing as well. Best regards...-Dave Link to comment
