The sky here is something to die for. The position of the rock formation in the frame is spot on. I however have a slight reservation on the HDR or HDR like processing of the image.

I like the lights on the groung. And the compopsition. Overall the image is really good. But I agree - maybe a little too much of HDR.

It would be nice to see the color version as Monument valley is iconic for its red sandstone Buttes. Against this incredible sky it may be an image that will elicit a "wow'

It looks over sharpened to me.

This is an amazing cloud formation, the soft cloud bubbles serve to accentuate the more gritty textures of the "monuments"

Very well done!

A classic scene with a beautiful cloud pattern.  Well done and great timing to have this opportunity!

All- Thanks for the comments, Appreciate it!
I'm sorry I couldn't respond earlier due to some weird "HTTP 408/409 Server Busy" issues that didn't let me leave a comment here.
As regards the original scene: There wasn't much blue in the sky; it was lots of grey + the "bubble-like" clouds and not  much shadows. The color versions are quite dull. However, I thought the sky was too good to pass up. That's why I blended 3 exposure into a HDR image and sharpened to bring out the details in the clouds.
