John Peri 1,029 Posted December 30, 2010 No reason why people shouldn't see the occasion on which this was done ..though my first attempt at filming with my NIKON D90 is a little shaky .. : -)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwgOVc8jkHc Link to comment

gsphotoguy 3 Posted December 31, 2010 I have mentioned this before but feel that skin contrasted with rough stone, like this window opening, is terrific. The pose works perfectly in the frame although she looks nervous that she is about to fall. Her bright red nails, the scarf on her head and the jewlery all work to add to the composition. Thanks for the behind-the-scene video, it is fun to get a look at the process.A very Happy New Year to you. Let us all hope for a fun, creative year ahead. Link to comment
niki3 3 Posted December 31, 2010 I really like this series with the turban and the door ... do well to show some 'time, deserves to be appreciated slowly... happy 2011 Link to comment
glenn_stear 1 Posted January 1, 2011 Fantastic image once again John! Watched the video, great. I'm wondering what she is attempting to do, push the wall over or fit into the window? Is it taken on a Greek island, in one of those abandoned villages or possibly a Spanish ruin? Looks very Mediterranean. Never mind, it fits together well. That girl has beautiful skin btw. Thanks for leading the way on how to take nudes. Happy New Year! Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted January 1, 2011 Thank you all .. thank you Glenn .. to me the video is more a demonstration of how to have fun with one's model friends .. : -) Link to comment
dennis_brabender 0 Posted January 1, 2011 really like the you tube aspect....can't wait to see more of such postingskind of let's you know how much of the final image is post processedit also looks like you are using existing lightI always wonder how the end photo compares to the original shotguess that it doesn't hurt to start with a very attractive modelI enjoy checking out your work regularly Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted January 1, 2011 Thank you also to the two friends above ..Dennis, as usual the post work consists largely of cropping and a change in contrast, certainly the model needs no work on her as you can clearly see ... : -) Yes, it is natural lighting (towards sunset). As for the location .. well, we should leave something for the dreams, there are lots of old building around still inhabited by fairies .. :-).. this particular fairy is a very good friend, we spend time together during the summer holidays. We go swimming, have drinks, laugh a lot, and occasionally take some photos .. Link to comment
Elstad 8 Posted January 1, 2011 Lovely as allways my friend. Good to see that she found a flat place to stand on ;-pMay the new year be an easy one for you John, may it bring with it many muses and many, many smiles! Cheers, Raymond Link to comment
