It's as the heavens are shining down a spotlight.  I like the bleached feel.  Even the clouds feel ancient.

I would like to thank both of you for providing a lot of inspiration and encouragement over the last year. May 2011 be the best for you. Peace.

How odd it is that we revere the trade marks of soft-drinks to the point of building shrines to worship them.  Sugar water holds a lot of power.

The original angle of the shot in combination with the processing lays on a nice feel of times gone by.  My only little nit, and this may well be PN's handiwork not yours, is that the sky is posterized in several areas, most notably around the vignette at the top and the dark clear sky to the right of the iron tower. The posterization lends a digital look that works against the retro that you would seem to be going for.

As for the image, you are right and I don't think it is anybody's fault but mine. Processing just stayed on the stove top too long and got a little over-cooked.
