The captured moment makes this picture. The owl seems to be looking straight to the photographer, waiving a little goodbye. A perfect pose by a subject in perfect harmony with the scenery. On top, nice DOF and sharpness.

The only things that bothers me is the shadow trespassing int the eye line. Really. Nevertheless, really good.

Impressive bird, the eye contact is perfect...too bad the shadow darkens some of the facial features...nothing you could do about that. Wonderful lighting, very crisp and an awesome pose.

Too darned beautiful!  Perfect pose, bg and light.  I like Wendy's remake a little better but either one is a 7 for me.

Guess this is one of the perks you get for living in cold places.
