mark_q 0 Posted November 26, 2010 Wonderful creative take of so well-known statue. In my book the composition is first class, just some adjustment in contrast could improve further this great photo, IMHO.Nothing political in this but somehow I see here a Roman emperor about turning his thumb down at the end of gladiator fight. wolfgangarnold 142 Posted November 29, 2010 Agree to Markku: he is about to turn down his thumb! It's a great example how a new viewpoint and composition can completely alter the impact of a subject. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 29, 2010 As stated, the composition is first class. Very unique view. I find myself wondering how it might look as more high key. Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted November 29, 2010 Pardon me playing with your photo, inspired by David's comment (and my own vision I had in mind while writing my first comment). Consider this as food for thought, just my humble 2 cents... Link to comment
