Sebastien Brodeur got inspired by one of Robert Farnham pictures(for your reference, links in the follow-up post below), which in turninspired me to have a go at this "theme". However, during the shot Ididn't have the visual reference, so was aiming for the effect frommemory only. Think it's close, but I prefer Robert's originalversion; will have another shot at it soon... (pun intended ;)

The inspiration of others is fine, Tomek, as long as you avoid trying to copy. Your interpretation of the previous idea is well made. I fine the way you limited the lighting abstracts her body very well. I also like the framing.

I know Robert personally and his photographs. It's a hard act to follow, but you have done very well here. Excellent lighting, composition and exposure, bravo.

Tomek, you've given me a bit of an ego boost this morning as I sit here with my coffee, dreading going to work at my desk job today.  It's been a while since I've done any photography I've liked (I'm my own worst critic, of course). Lots of life has gotten in the way in the past few years. I think you've inspired me to find a model and a studio and have a shoot and produced some more work like this. 

I like this photograph of yours.  I'm not one to expound on why...I find a photo either works for me or it doesn't, especially one so graphically simple and sublime. 

Please shoot more, and I'll try to do the same!
