Tiny and wild mushroom, smaller than my little finger. The third in this

series. Handheld, f/4, ISO 500, low lighting. Your thoughts are greatly

appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to comment ;)

Such an exquisite mushroom with all the little antennae or feelers or whatever they are.  Have never seen anything like it, must be seeds at the end of the feelers.  Nice lighting which kind of shows off the appendages.  Would really make a spectacular image with a black bg.

Amazing details and very good composition made this capture really unbeatable! B/G is also nicely blurred, although with slight noise ( probably due to high iso rating ). Excellent shot. Bravo.

Hello Pamela, Nicely focused subject and good BG blur. Good title it makes me want to go look at the other images in the series, so I will.

Each time I see an image in your land of fairies series it brings a smile to my face.  In this case I like the way the greenery has framed the mushroom.  This is such an unusual variety with its silky little feelers, perhaps these caps a worn by fairies; a true mark of high fashion.  A lovely image!

This is amazing picture of a mushroom that I have never seen before. Light is good and your focus is very good upon the mushroom then every thing  is nicely diffused with your shallow DOF. Regards, ifti.

I've never seen this stype of mushroom before.  Thanks for being the one with the great eye and technique to show it off.  I love how the DOF really adds to the feelings of the shot.  Nice work.

Thank you everyone for the kind and encouraging words! I am so happy that you like my little hairy mushroom image and the third in the "Land of Fairies" series. I don't think I have ever seen such a magical place and feel lucky that we stumbled into the area by accident! I appreciate that you all stopped by and took the time to leave your thoughts!

Warmest regards, Pamela

I'm absolutely knocked out by these incredible little fungi. Have you looked them up yet? You may have stumbled on a new species. Just imagine you might get it named after you The Franklin Fungi : - )

Seriously though it really is beautiful, and again I must congratulate you on achieving such clarity with a hand held shot.

Very well done Pamela!

Kind Regards

Alf
