peter.blum 0 Posted October 5, 2010 Hi Pierre,As always, a masteful, surreal and very suggestive image. Your imagination seem to have no limits. And the technicall provess is contributing. An image to watch, enjoy and ponder at -You have my admiration. All the best Link to comment
michaellinder 16,613 Posted October 6, 2010 I've had to take several looks at this photograph before it all could sink in. First, the dark tonality allows the "pavement" to play a more significant role than in your brighter shots. In this case, less is more. The bare trees are powerful symbols, taken together with the steam shovel, backhoe, etc. My read is that they speak to humankind's slow manipulation and destruction of the environment, at a cost too expensive to bear. The dog in the background is but a mute witness.Outstanding work, my friend . . .michael Link to comment

John Peri 1,032 Posted October 6, 2010 Another remarkable piece ... sometimes I fear to interpet these images, worried over whether the Rorschach effect will reflect more misfunction in me than the author .. haha .. the colouring is terrific here Pierre and the DOF really draws you into the picture. Hmmm, now I do see a ......Excellent work, truly, bravo. Link to comment
niki3 3 Posted October 6, 2010 the only fault of this picture is that in some areas it seems a little too dark, I'd better see the dog in the background. However beautiful Link to comment
Funtak 0 Posted October 6, 2010 It could be a very good front page ilustration for one of Erich Fromm's work..or Andrej Tarkovsky's movie...dobra majstore. Link to comment
szattler 0 Posted October 6, 2010 Nice to see you my friend, or Slovenian brother better. I think group of nation, no a one nation only. I thought you are Frenchman on the beginning. But it is not very important for me. You are very good, and I like your fantasy, on this image too. Ed Link to comment

arnav 7 Posted October 6, 2010 Very nicely done. The sky adds a whole lot to the image.I also like the trees (or tree, tree and reflection of tree). It adds a sad/lost effect. The digger reminds me of the movie, Wally, and what people do to the environment.CheersArnav Link to comment
dabar 0 Posted October 7, 2010 Superb surreal scene! I can only hope that you will continue this theme... and perhaps do a Halloween Version. Link to comment
krpradu 125 Posted October 7, 2010 No other words than congrat. for this idea and way you did this,in fact all the time, splendid colors and clarity of this image, more as I look I feel going inside this.Have a nice day! Link to comment
JamieK 1 Posted October 7, 2010 i like that in general, and i like it here in particular. i used to try to bring everything into range, lightening dark things and darkening bright things, but it's too controlled, and to different from reality. J.W.M. Turner's paintings do it well - the top and bottom just slide gracefully out of range. Link to comment
