vbirke 0 Posted October 2, 2010 At a first glance seems to be a "standard" view - due to the wide angle and the innovative editing a creative and aesthetic work can be viewed. Like the grain as well. Adds a special touch. The title fits very well as well. Very good. BR / Volker Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted October 5, 2010 Good grief ! Hope the car did not drive towards you.A good shot with fantastic light. The perspective makes the viewer travel all the crooked way to the end. I think the idea of the scene is good, but in my eyes the tracks are overdoing their job. It would have been somewhat more subtile if the the very last swings had been there and that the first part of the tracks had been straight. So, if by chance you have had some kind of connection with the driver in question I would have preferred to ask for some caution. For me the grains in this shot functions perfectly, but I would lighten a little the extreme sides which for the moment are fairly black.A good shot that attracts attention. Mike Marcotte 49,963 Posted October 6, 2010 Thanks for that critique. I don't often get them with detail. I appreciate it. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted October 10, 2010 I think the range in tones is quite nicely handled. The dark sides, at least to my eyes, keep the viewer smack-dab in the middle of frame where all the action is. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 28, 2010 Here is a straightforward picture that is anything but. The swerving tire tracks going on and on down a long straight stretch of road kicks my mind into gear as I try to imagine possible scenarios that would lead to this. And that's the power of the picture, its reach extends beyond the picture frame even as we see and understand the explicit scene itself. Link to comment
color 3 Posted October 29, 2010 Very nicely done. Got my attention as soon as I saw the thumbnail. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 6, 2010 I might have taken a tad off the top, but that's nitpicking. Great image. Link to comment
