Taken before dawn. I was hoping the simple composition and colors of

the early morning sky would be enough to carry the picture. B&W

To answer your question....yes, the simple composition works beautifully.  It's one of those examples of 'less is more'.  The colors resulting from the early morning light are spectacular.  Bravo!
