Taken 14 minutes after "Mid-Summer Night's Dream". Clouds threatened to block the sun, but then allowed some sweet light to shine through. Legs had gone numb some time earlier, as I was wedged into rocks in order to get the low perspective with FG rocks and sky above. When lightening began later in the evening, I had some trouble standing until circulation returned, having remained in this nook for about 50 minutes as the lighting dissapeared. Watch those body mechanics out there! Single image, 3 stop grad ND filter, hard edge moved during 5 sec. exposure.

Classic composition with very attractive semi transparent foreground rock/water detail. The wind on the water surface has created some really nice patterns during the 5 min exposure, and the ND filter has done a good job in giving loads of definition and colour to the sky. Good front to back sharpness too, I was going to say the only way to improve this shot would be to get it flat calm, but now I think about it, but this is different and I really can't fault it.

Kind Regards

Alf

Excellent eye-catching capture! Love the red-brown color of f/g stones and subdued far sky colors. Really good color management. Bravo. Max.

Presentation very well known for us which can see that it inspired you very much in the recent time!

However there is wasing a bit of a breath of fresh air in it.

The completely different play of light, it is interestingly.
