A useless piece of junk to almost everyone but a photographer! But these kind of sights are getting to be pretty rare in the UK as everything gets recycled (rather annoyingly) Great find and nicely composed with the mountains in the distance.

Focus and dof is perfect, exposure is very good, nice composition.

Of the two derelict car photos, I prefer this one.  The colors are richer and more natural and the extremes of shadow and highlight are handled more effectively.  Moreover, the perspective is more effective in this photograph than to the one  following it.  The old car feels, ironically, like it is an organic part of the landscape.  This is achieved not only through perfect perspective, but also through the various red tones, from the rusting body of the car to the light reddish tones of the sky.  The reds are neatly contained and counterpointed  by the faint blue of the sky.  (This is not, thankfully, a Martian evening photograph where unnatural reds are allowed to run riot.)   The sun is setting on the world, as it has set on this old car that was once beautiful when new and has achieved another kind of beauty in death.  In the end you wonder whether to contact a restorer of classic cars to take it away or to leave it alone as one must the Titanic or lesser monumental wrecks.
