Donna Stavis 0 Posted August 23, 2010 The older man with the streimel simply cannot take a bad photograph with you though that centuries-old garb always seems so at odds with modern technology. The girl is planted in an amusing way. The man in the middle, though dressed correctly ... I don't know -- that shirt untucked, bored expression -- he breaks the mood. Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted August 23, 2010 Great picture Pnina. I love the focus and the short DOF you have used highlighting the little girl on her pedestal. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted August 23, 2010 Pnina, interesting shot and apt caption. The girl looks like a doll. Link to comment

jeffl7 0 Posted August 25, 2010 I agree with Amal. The girl looks like a doll placed on a shelf. The slightly disheveled look on the guy in the middle adds some interesting comic relief to an otherwise formal affair. Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted August 26, 2010 It is interesting to see another scene from the wedding, particularly as I have read your story. There is a great sense of the generation gaps and differences here, but interspersed with a good injection of humour.Nice work Pnina!Kind RegardsAlf Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 27, 2010 Donna, you are right about the modern technology, but the ultra orthodox are using it as well. I think that Mr. Meshi Zahav was not able to give the fast help he is providing in places of disaster, without using this technology. Anders, thanks for your appreciation. I liked the juxtaposition. Amal and Jorg, thanks for all your feedback. Jeff, many things in this event were new to me, despite the two professional photographers, I photographed my personal point of view.;-)) Alf, nice of you to write in details your impressions. It was, as I wrote before, a very interesting and educating event I was a part of. Link to comment
