This was shot with a Canon 5D Mark II + 1.4 X extender + 500mm F4 on a 3226 bogeh tripod & an Indian gimbal head.

Not really much to critique.  Maybe I'd blow it up ever so slightly to make the eye a little more engaging, and then burn down the background a touch. It's an excellent photo.

Thanks Dan, very much a straight shot. I cropped, sharpened a bitt and posted.  These blue herons are actually a lot easier to shoot than the snowy egrets in any lighting condition.

Thanks you Folks! I like the mood the photo project very much, wish I had cut  SS down to lower the ISO a bit. I was shooting flying snowy egret and this fellow dropped in. - Happy... bird shooting!
