Slice of Life - View Large

Bear Creek in Summer. A "slice of life" giving water in an otherwise

Beautiful work with very nice lighting, Dave!

I like this image, it's a beautiful shot, it epitomises the idyllic summers day in this quiet backwater. From the posiiton of the shadows it would seem that it is close to mid- day, and therefore not usually the best time to get a decent landscape shot, however you have done really well here, the fine grasses and lush waterside reeds  make for a very pleasing foreground, and the compisition leads the eye s to the far distant hillside.
