Lovely image, sometimes the best photos emerge in overcast weather, super saturation on the bank with the wild flowers, lovely clarity in the foreground.

Very nice photo Zsolt.  This really captures the feel of a rainy alpine day.  Great comp with the rocks/water/flowers/mountains/sky.  There is a lot to look at here and it all works together marvelously.

This is beautiful, Zsolt! I really like tones and composition of this shot! Just a question: did you use a polarizer on your lens? I didn't find it mentioned in the details...

Regards, Alberto.

I wouldn't shoot this because of the lack of any interesting light (or some more drama in the sky lately) but I have to say that the way you put all the elements of the image together is stunning and creates what could be taught in a school of composition. Almost mathematical use of the rule of thirds throughout the whole area. I specifically like the two little stones that provide a perfect balance for the group in the foreground. It would work much less effectively without them I guess.

To conclude, this is great example how a strong composition can transform a rather trivial scenery into visually very pleasing result.

thank you very much for the great comments.

Alberto: yes i used polarizer, i always use, it was probably never taken down from the lens since i have it. even in overcast days, you can see a lot of meaning to use it, for more intense colors and the play with water surfaces.

Yes Zsolt, you have a real gem here! It just goes to show, you don't always need that dawn or dusk sky to create a visual masterpiece. There are many subjects and places for the eye to stop and gaze. The visual flow is spellbinding. Very well done!!

Beautiful shot Zsolt! The color of the flowers really stands out in this image due to the subdued lighting. Superbly composed, with just the right elements to create an interesting image.

All the best,
Neil
