Sidsel, I remember the first version. I like the desaturation on this because of the fun the girl is obviously having. 

This is a very nice shot but I find the spot colour garish and distracting IMOP.

I like what you have achieved here, the little girl playing, is highlighted very pleasantly and commands attention.

is a very well taken photo, and also well seen. this passage is original, and is nice how the girl is playing and the adults just walking. everyone use the town as they need... but for this reason i'm not sure about this desaturation, that - at my eyes - put the girl away from the scene. her attitude and her position, i think, are enough to make her the center of the photo.....

Thank you for comments and suggestions. Do you think the whole picture should be black and white, or the whole in colours?

What an amazing eye you have! This is what got me into photography in the first place. To take an everyday moment in life and create an amazing story telling photograph, is truly golden. Great work!

...in my view and an obvious choice to use selective color to have the girl (who's playing instead of walking and moving in the opposite direction of the adults, too) stand out more.

I gave it a rating of 6 out of seven "only" though, for these (very subjective) reasons: One, I find it a little distracting that the shot isn't lined up horizontally and the pathway is neither fully captured nor symmetrical - and two, in my huble opinion it would be nice had the shot been taken wider open (or processed in such fashion) that the boring background would be blurred. IMHO, these are the two nitpicks that keep the image from being "perfect". Great shot any ways!
