Just playing in the 'Photoshop Sandbox' again. So many recipes, so

little time.....I'm sure I'll try it again with another subject and hopefully as

I do, improvement will come. (comments welcome with tnks, Gail)

Many thanks for your visit and support Gallego.  This was an experiment with 2 different effects.  A lot to learn yet.  Sincere appreciation for your visit, Gail

Thankyou Paul for that lovely compliment.  The 'assignment' was to make a 'sign' using a stone and weatherd  wood effect.  The stone I had a bit of trouble with, but got to a point where it seemed acceptable.  Will still keep trying, thankyou for your visit and support, most appreciated. Gail

Hi Patsy, just experimenting again, one that I will have to do more 'homework' on, but enjoyable all the same. Thankyou for your visit and support, Gail

I've a long way to go to where I will be really satisfied with this effect, but it was enjoyable on the first curve of learning.  Thankyou for your kind commments and support. Hope the family is all well, sincerely, Gail

Now,

  • sit down
  • gather your thoughts
  • feel the calm washing over your body
  • if that doesn't work, try to STAY  OUT  OF  THE  SUN !

Thanks for your visit, now I have 2 Chuckles for the day!  Cheers, Gail

I like the effect and the subject matter, the feeling of nostalgia is quite acute, very well thought out and compiled,

Thankyou Alf for those kind words of critique.  Nice to know you understand when one sets out on a 'project', so many careful 'steps' go into the image.  Many thanks for your support.  Sincerely, Gail

Now that you mention it, the 'look' is very much like the quilts that many people use on their sofas and bed these days.  Thankyou so much for dropping by and your kind words, Gail
