Never ever such a beautiful creation. Beautiful in colors and the excellent way that you have captured her Ruud.....Best regards. Dara

Zij (?) kijkt inderdaad een beetje bang, Ruud -- maar zo'n mooie kip zal vast mooie eieren leggen... Heb je deze op een boerderij gefotografeerd? -- Veel groetjes, Marjolein

Great Colour and sharpness, contrasting well with the straw and stone and the subject looking into the frame which is good also, maybe a little bit more space needed to the left , but then there is probably a good explanation as to why you cropped this close.

Nice work Ruud!

Kind Regards

Alf

Great shot Ruud, this bird's expression reminds me of 'myself' when I 'think too hard'.....nice detail and color, and nice to see the poor thing had your company before it's unfortunate demise....tnx for sharing, Gail

Great details Ruud.  Colours are very nice too. She seems to be concentrating very hard on something.

Kind regards

Jim

many thanks for your visits, comments and compliments!

Marjolein: tijdens mijn wandeling door het midden van Norg, een dorpje 12 km boven Assen, kwam ik langs een vervallen schuurtje waarbij enkele fraaie kippen vrij rondliepen...

With best regards / hartelijke groeten,

Ruud.

Nice shot, Ruud! You did a fantastic job. Shooting live birds is very difficult. You have to be quick, and have a steady hand. My latest photo of a live bird was taken in my front yard. We have a cardinal family now. My husband, Doug, has a photo of a baby cardinal.

I like this photo: It is very sharp and detailed. I hope to see more bird photos from you. :)

Mooie scherpe foto.

Ze staat er wel een beetje zielig bij te kijken. Of ze is boos, of ze treurt om haar kroost.

Ze zet wat veren omhoog.

Groetjes,
